"Chairs. A farce of Death" is the soundtrack of the short film-play of the same name produced by Teodora Vlad in 2011.

"Chairs" inspires from the absurd play by Eugene Ionesco and it's "a dark comedy about a Man who experiences death as a burlesque play performed by invisible characters, all trapped in an imaginary backstage."

For this experimental project, lasted 8 months, the music was also used as an inspirational tool to discover the identity of the main character and, due to this, it was conceived, composed and produced before the movie was shot.

The music was entirely composed, arranged and produced by Giovanni Tria.

This album includes the five tracks that are used (either entirely or partially) in the film.

Apart from the overture (track #1) each track represents a season of the year.

All of the tracks include the cello, which represents the main character of the film (The Man).
